Bulls Bridge Golf Club, Kent, CT.
Nestled in the Litchfield Hills, is this beautiful mountain Tom Fazio design. You start on hole one, where on the tee box it feels like you are floating in the sky and there is a massive drop to the right of you. You then move your way down to a valley (holes 2-8), which are just as good as the holes on top of the hill and in the open field. They are currently under a bunker renovation and can’t wait to see the results. Place is aways in pristine condition with very little play, no clubhouse, just a golf shop and eating area. False fronts, downhill par 3’s, downhill driveable par 4’s, short but deadly par 5’s and a 600 yard double dog leg par 5 (6th).
The club is named after the nearby bulls bridge which goes over the Housatonic river which is the reason for the beautiful view, valleys and hills. Such a unique experience especially if you pick your route to the course the right way (driving over the bridge on the way to course). And when you get on the first tee, not just the view is cool, but the tee markers as well as they are replicas of the bridge. Truly unique and special golfing experience.
