Galloway National Golf Club, Galloway Township, NJ.
A 1995 Tom Fazio design ranked inside the top 10 of the rich golf state of New Jersey. Built on sand dunes and alongside the bay with views if Atlantic City, the course brings a tremendous challenge off the tee and around the greens. A wide variety of different shaped and undulating greens that Fazio built on the tops of sand dunes to make approach shots challenging like he used on some of his great courses like McArthur. Bunkers bring about Pine Valley or even the East Coast of Florida vibes. Great use of a phenomenal piece of land with green complexes that have some serious undulations similar to Alister MacKenzie's work. This all makes sense to why Fazio was chosen by Augusta and Pine Valley to do work, and you can see glimpses of that work at Galloway.
