North Jersey Country Club, Wayne, NJ. An early 1920’s Walter Travis design that was masterfully restored by Berischneidergolf and @renaissancegolfdesign . Some of the most fun and quirky greens you can play out there. Here you will find lots of blind tee shots but they embrace the character of the course and are very fun to hit up to. Precision is required over every shot, especially around the greens. Miss in the wrong spot and you will be left with a chip or putt that makes you believe you are in Scotland. It’s just shy of 6,700 from the tips, but will leave you with some of the most fun golf you will ever play. You better make sure to do your research before playing, especially on the blind tee shots as there are hazards and hummocks lurking off the fairways. Very cool how this club embraces the history and legacy of Walter Travis and is a great example of the next golden age of golf architecture we are in.
